VERTEX 2 terms
The terms for a VERTEX 2 subscription, in plain English.
Last updated 7 Nov 2026
What VERTEX 2 is
VERTEX 2 is proprietary software. Your subscription gives you a personal licence to use it on one cTrader account at a time. It runs as a cBot in the cTrader desktop app on your own broker account, and it needs cTrader running with an internet connection. Your money stays with your broker: we never hold it, and we never need your broker password.
Who can subscribe
You must be 18 or over to subscribe. It’s up to you to make sure you’re allowed to use VERTEX 2 and to trade CFDs where you live.
Your subscription
VERTEX 2 is a monthly subscription. It renews by itself each month until you cancel. The price is shown on the VERTEX 2 page and at checkout, before you pay. If your price ever changes, we email you at least 7 days before the new price is charged, and you can cancel before then.
Prices are set in Australian dollars (A$). At checkout you may see and pay in your local currency, converted at that day’s rate; your receipt shows the amount you paid. Renewals are charged in the currency you signed up in, at the amount shown on your plan in My account.
Free trial
New customers get a free trial; its length is shown at checkout. Nothing is charged during the trial, and VERTEX 2 trades a demo account only. If you don’t cancel, your first payment is taken when the trial ends, and from then on VERTEX 2 can trade a live account too. There’s one free trial per customer.
No refunds
We don’t give refunds for VERTEX 2, including for part of a month. The free trial is there so you can try it before you pay. NatGas Central’s 30-day money-back guarantee covers its memberships only, not VERTEX 2.
Cancelling
Cancel any time in My account, under VERTEX 2. Cancel during the free trial and nothing is charged; your licence keeps working until the trial ends. After that, cancelling stops future payments, and your licence runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Your licence
Each subscription comes with one licence key, which works on one cTrader account at a time. Keep it to yourself, like a password. To move it to another account, ask from My account › VERTEX 2.
Your licence is for your own use. You may not share, resell or copy VERTEX 2 or your licence key, and you may not decompile or reverse engineer VERTEX 2. If you break these terms, for example by sharing or reselling VERTEX 2 or your licence key, you’re responsible for any loss or cost this causes us.
If a payment doesn’t go through and stays unpaid for 3 days, we pause your licence until it’s paid. When a subscription ends, its licence is switched off. We can also pause or switch off a licence that is shared, copied or used against these terms.
Not financial advice
VERTEX 2 is software, not financial advice. Trading CFDs is high risk: you can lose money, and there’s no guarantee of profit. You choose your broker, your account and your risk setting, and you’re responsible for the trades on your account.
Any results we show, on our website, in emails or in our community, are past results. They don’t promise future results, and your own results can be different.
Your responsibility
You run VERTEX 2 on your own computer and your own broker account, so these are yours to look after:
- Your broker, your account and your risk setting, and checking that they suit you and what you can afford to lose.
- Keep cTrader running, with the computer on and online, from 8:00 am to 3:10 pm Chicago time on US market days (see the setup guide), so VERTEX 2 stays connected.
- The money and margin in your broker account.
- Installing a new version of VERTEX 2 when we let you know one is available.
- Anything you change yourself, including trades you open, change or close by hand.
VERTEX 2 relies on things we don’t control: your computer, your internet connection, cTrader and your broker. If any of them stops, slows down or changes, a trade can be missed, delayed, filled at a different price or closed later than expected.
Our liability
VERTEX 2 is provided as it is. We don’t promise that it will make money, that it will suit you, or that it will always run without interruption or error.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for trading losses or lost profits, or for any loss that comes from your settings or risk choices; your computer, connection, cTrader or broker; a trade that was missed, delayed or not what you expected; an interruption or error in VERTEX 2 or our service; or a licence paused or switched off under these terms.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with VERTEX 2 is limited to the fees you paid us for VERTEX 2 in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law says can’t be taken away.
If we stop offering VERTEX 2
We may stop offering VERTEX 2. If we do, we’ll email you at least 30 days before. We’ll stop taking payments, and your licence keeps working to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and we’ll email you before a change that affects your subscription.
If part of these terms can’t be enforced
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest of them still applies.
